this was a piece done by found here [link]not to familiar with the entire cast of characters, the furthest i go into space is Fantastic four, so some of these characters are strangers to me, but the art and composition was well put together and i wanted to try my hand at coloring an action scene so here we go.

if ur talking about the flames on his side i dont know whether to make them out as flames of the body flaming on or highlights from the fist, i guess it works both ways

The only two things I think that detract from the pic are the purple/pink colour of the rock that they're all fighting on, and they bright parts in the sky. I reckon it takes the eyes away from the characters too much. The effects and colours in the sky should be a little more subtle. But that's just my opinion hey, don't take it as gospel.

i took ur advice and agree with coloring, the characters are the main focus so i changed the hue of the ground, i went with the purple/pink cuz it wasnt a color that really played alot into the chararcters but i switched it to a sortof clay, reddish look and changed the bright/contrast on that as well as the sky which i also added some blurs to. to kinda keep the crisp color style with the character and make the sky and ground lok more like background. did i f$%k this up? i think not.

No, not you did a very cool job on this. I do like the improvements though and think it works much much better now that the background is toned down, I'm sure you agree? But yeah, looks cool dude.

thanks a lot its funny other peoples line work i spend more time involved coloring than i do a majority of my own stuff, and am trying to become more adaptable to different styles and get some good stuff together for submissions. not borrowing this or anything this is just practice, so if u have anymore line work to color im all for it.
