your pencil drawings are exquisite..... i havent tried a drawing like this for years... and i damn well bet it cramped up... had to rub out a page of pencil witha crap rubber once... man my arm hurt for a week.

Yes, the problem with drawing with such pressure on the pencil is that erasing is no longer a real option- especially in this piece where the white space needed to reamain as pristine as possible.

That is too cool! I love how instead of taking the easy way out and making the girl dark you made everything around her dark, it looks ten times better that way, amazing!

i cant say anything else other than what has been already said here about how great it is . but there's something funny about the light source. i dont think its really that candle. cause it represents a light source other than the candle 'cause the light is coming from left, even the candle's own shadow is cast on the desk, left side of the candle is shining.. and yep, thah glow over there.. except for these, its great..

This is a great drawing... I like the atmosphere and the lightning but what about that glow in the middle of the candle.. where did that come from? . Other than that its beautyful!

great stuff! love that lighting effect and the contrast from it. sets up a nice mood for this drawing
one thing though, why is there a "glow" around the middle of the candle?

Wow! Great detailing especially for a pencil, at first I thought it was charcoal. Wonderful job, I love the glowing effect the woman has.
