Thanks! I'm referring to the straight lines made by the water drops photographed at a longer exposure. Some curve. I think I figured it out though. This photo makes it appear as if I were taking it straight on, when actually I was underneath an overhang.

Oh interesting, what a great thought to capture those with a long exposure. They make the scene look almost otherworldly.
