Actually, If you read the air New Adventures, Ahadi looks nearly exactly how Cayenne draw him. He is not actually black-maned, that's just how most all the fandom makes him.Β

since ahadi is really that colour(as seen in the disney books) i think he is the bad rouge lion in the brightest star(if you've ever read it the rouge looks just like him).

I like ahadi with the black mane, but you got their designs correctly according to to Six New Adventures, thats how ahadi should be portrayed, as well as for uru, the facial anatomy and color resemble to scar so this is pretty neat c:

No, it's even not clear if Uru is Mohatu's child. Ahadi could be the prince too.

He has a black mane in fan works because in the book, the author described him with 'a long black mane and green eyes'. Its just artist who drew the pictures for the book apparantly didn't pay attention to what the autheor wrote ^^

I really like the colours you've done for Ahadi, so many do the 'traditional' green eyes and black mane that this is a breath of fresh air! Just one thing for me is that the eyes are very almond shaped like Scar's are, can't tell where Mufasa gets his eyes
