(well, that escalated quickly)Lots of people were saying I should draw some more serious comics, so this happened.
Anyways, Cadence gets kidnapped, and her identity is requisitioned by Chrysalis.
THIS TOOK SO LONG FOR ME TO DRAAAAW holy crap, I hope it looks good.
Being the one who drew it, I've been staring at it for so many hours I can't even tell anymore.

A very lovely comic. I like how Chrysalis cuts off Cadence before she says her nickname, which gives an explanation as to why Chrysalis seemed to insist on being called Mi Amore Cadenza rather than Cadence, since she never got Cadence's nickname, just her full name (my personal headcanon is that Cadence hates her full name, and very rarely uses it, unless perhaps for a formal introduction, so it's easy to see her completing the sentence Chrysalis cuts off with "but you can call me Cadence")
The art is pretty close to the show but different enough that it's obviously equally yours. It might have been nice to see Cadence sinking slowly into the floor the way Twilight did, and maybe the more slime like trap Chrysalis traps Cadance toward the end of the finale, since the more zapping powers seem to be what comes from Shining Armor's overpowered love, that give Chrysalis most of her power. Over all a very well done comic.

Well this would certainly be a good explanation as to how Queen Chrysalis was able to replace the real Princess Cadence right before Twilight and her friends arrived to help with the lastΒ need to do things before her and Shiny Armor's wedding! since CadenceΒ only said her "official" title, it would make sense that Chrysalis would want to be called by that name and how Cadence's mane got that messed up. As forΒ her body looking allΒ messy, maybe from being in those caverns to long,Β being right there when Twilight blasted a crystal with "Imposter Cadence's" image, fighting back against Chrysalis in a weakened state when she tried to replace her!?!? The comic looks incredible, you should be proud and nothing worthwhile is ever easy, but this is worth it and it shows you take your art seriously and want to please those who see it!!!

It doesn't look like Shining's shield is up, so how does Canterlot become aware it under threat? Was someone, a guard, passing by, and happened to hear what happened, but looked in too late to see what happened, and reported what might have happened? A possible threat?
