I'm kinda sad. All the things that made me realize off the bat "That's Red!" in my inbox/front page, are gone.
I hate to be the opposite of everyone else but a few of those things really made your character interesting. All of your other characters have it but her now.
Bah. I miss the horns too much.. the only change I like is the color scheme against her eyes from a different update. About the only thing I can remember. Plus, I could tell your character from a silhouette when she had horns. With out the size chart you can't tell its her. Now that I think of it that is what makes Amon (sp?) such a great character over Red now.

Well sorry if it makes you sad. But If I kept the horns she would have no reason, there was in the previous design when Furfur was a bull instead of a deer..

I don't see how that makes a connection by not giving her little horns. D:
I mean your story isn't based around current logic, even more so, you could have them smaller that when they "grow larger" to summon Furfur.. maybe it would make sense where they came from?
Or two: if she didn't have this connection at the start it could look like a deer growing up. You wouldn't see them at the start but when she makes this connection with this Furfur dude maybe that could be that mark. I noticed she had a symbol on her chest at some point so I'm going off that old logic.
That or well three.. they are not real lions so the bull horns don't have to connect with Furfur at all.
Maybe you could help by answering some of these other options? Thanks!

1.No, my story isn't based around logic at all, but it is mainly based on true myth demonology. That is why my other characters like Amon and Furfur's designs and descriptions are exactly like what demonology describes them. Even Astaroth the main villain of the story will behave like how Astaroth is described in demonology. only fake demon character is Night D: This is why I traded Red's horns for anthlers so she will be more recognized with Furfur.
and on 2, I still can't really imagine bull horns to be growing on Red's head. Bull horns aren't even related to Furfur. Also I have been so attached to deer antlers now. I do also got a plan to make Red behave a bit like a deer. XD
and 3rd, Well that is the hard thing. Red didn't get horns by birth. It is true that some achidar lions get horns with their battle forms, its not in Red's nature, except for uncle Mars, none of her other past family members had horns eather. Only real reason she did got horns was ages ago when I started Red out with bull horns she was so called " bull-zebra-lion" hybrid called "Lavidra". Lavidra was the first concept before Acherra and Achidar (recognizable with zebra mohawks). She was also ment to be my fursona in the first place, but now Esava took that role (and she got horns!) xD.
I still will stay with the antlers, it feels so much better in my imagination. :c

I'm glad it feels right in your imagination! That's the good point at least. Thank you first off for answering my questions. You took it like a good professional would which is a A+ from me. Going back to the topic now, I just which I could see something a bit different on her still but I do agree now that maybe those arn't the best way to go about it. What happened to the flame on the tail? Or did you decide no to that because of pokemon. Which is sad cause pokemon do not have right to call that copyright.
What about Night now? Why did you choose him to be a different or does he have a connection with something else? (Which btw PLEASE dont change him in design. Omg he is gorgous. Very jealous)
Back to the deer horns XD. Would not when she made this "connection" with Furfur could she have smaller horns? That be kinda cute lol.

XD the horns thingie was the last change! I promise! Well about the half demon thing I have yet to reconsider what im going to do since furfur is just a seperate character now. I think theyre just connected with each other.

yeah she is connected with furfur. Well a bit of her dna got screwed so her fire abilities got replaced with demonic ones x3 the antler is kinda her battleform XD

Hey, good work on this! I see a lot of aspects of the old Red in this, but it is still drastically different. I love it!

Might I make a minor critique? On the frontal view at the very top, the left eye (her right) black marking seems to stretch more out than the other one, and it gives a sort of odd look to the over all face. Get what I mean? Unless it's supposed to be that way, of course. I just thought I'd point it out

Does by any chance the comic series Pride: Lions of Baghdad is one of your inspirations? (if that make any sense) Its just your art style looks similar to the style they used in the comics. I'm not saying that you stole the style , I am just curious.

I have read that comic, and yes I am partly inspired by the traditional linearting styles. Pride of Bagdad was a part of the research (and Terryl Whitlatch) c: I do my lineart rougly with mechanical pencil and then scan them to colour, so thats why they may be alike.
