Wanted to draw pokemon art for once XD drew a Suicune as a Windhound, because of the cheetah-based body and long muzzle.I am planning to also draw Entei and Raikou x3

Looking at this I get such a feeling of nostalgia |D Suicine was always one of my favorites, and I love seeing different people's takes on such a pretty beast!
I've never heard of Windhounds before, but I think Suicine makes a pretty decent one, myself. XD I especially love how you made it look semi-realistic, making its mane spiral up into the stratosphere like the aurora borealis it's supposed to represent. It's interesting to look around the entire painting and find all of the highlights from the aurora, the purple-blue colors that show up on the snowy trees are just gorgeous~

I generally dislike seeing Suicune as a dog, because it's quite obviously not one, but how can I not love this. windhounds are amazing ; ; I absolutely love how the cloak transitions into the Northern Light. Quite unlike anything I've seen so far. β₯

Dunno, I see a lot of them portrayed as wolves x3 which is weird. I heard he was supossed to be a cheetah but to be honest his head looks kind of like a dog, deer or dragon XD took advantage of the Windhound because their anatomy is like that of a cheetah but have a long snout.

most refer to them as the legendary CATS for a reason, haha, but they're really just beasts. the three of them are actually based on creatures of asian lore; the quilin (suicune), the chinese guardian lion (entei) and byakko the tiger (raikou). so suicune IS remeniscent of a deer/dragon hybrid, yeah. <:

they aren't. they're just fantasy creatures (beasts, simply put) and people need to stop making such a fuss. it's handy to have a general idea when you want to do a realistic version of any given pokemon, of course! but it's no reason to start wars~
