A while ago, I asked a friend of mine, who I keep on telling should get Deviantart, what he would like on Minecraft and he said a miners helmet which can give some light in the dark, like a torch. Now, I've had to do it and here it is.
Wearing this helmet will give about four blocks of light, no matter how dark.Even though its made from a gold helmet, it has the durability of a leather. Might not be the best armour, but its better then gold.

Thing is with Gold tools and armor, is that they tend to have the best stats, with the worst durability as a tradeoff.
