it certainly did/does help!
may I ask a question? what do you suggest for someone who doesn't know anything about color to study? where do I begin?

Gosh if it was a basic lesson on colour, I'd give people this link actuallyΒ purplekecleon.deviantart.com/aβ¦
It's a tutorial by one of my favourite artists and she uses colours like WOAH! And it's great for beginners seriously!
I'd also recommend saving some palettes that you find from pictures like literally. Say, I really love the colours in this pictureΒ studyinchina.universiablogs.neβ¦ , so why not save it into my computer or run it through a palette generator.Β
Stuff like these really help and don't be afraid to try different combinations

ahhh very sorry for the -eternity- long reply!
didn't have a proper connection for a while and wanted to make sure to check the links before replying!
that tutorial really is helpful (I mean for starter I have some ideas of what to search and learn more about)
and as for the saving palettes actually I'm doing it recently (glad to know it's a thing )
it's true that it can really improve your art but sometimes I feel like I'm just copying (you know like I just memorized this colour looks good with that colour) but I really don't know why? and it kinda puts me down!
anyways, I'm truly grateful for your reply it helped a lot
