I sculpted and cut at an angle kind of. To hold for longer time it's way better to glue. I just put it together for show.. ^^

redtrackz - if Pilcrowdesign is offering to mold and cast your Engineer - take him up on it! You two would probably make a hell of a monster-making team as well.
I checked on some of the things Pilcrow has for sale on his site-they are a little pricey but not as bad as I thought. People who would spring for Hot Toys or Sideshow Collectibles figures could afford this casting.

Yes, always some kind of frame underneath. It's both wire and/or aluminium foil in this case. Depends on which part of it. The clay can't support itself, sadly. It's also a bit cheaper to bulk it out...

That's how I've done it on the few occasions I've made things out of clay. I have a wire figure waiting for some clay skin as we speak.

Jo men jag har det bra här i norr, pluggar, stressar och stressar lite till.
Det är inte mycket andrum man har när man pluggar på universitet, men kamraterna här gör det någorlunda lättare att hålla på.

I don't want to do any casting or selling copies myself. I like to make things but the business part has never been my thing it seems.... If YOU would like to use it though, I wouldn't mind as long as I'd get at least one copy of it back so I can paint it. ^w^
