Description
To begin with, I had this old concept pending for a while among my sketches. Decided to work on the said concept because I wanted to practice again for my background drawing. Still feel dissatisfied about the old artworks, particularly when in comes to the foliage. Awkward lineart, weird shapes, sloppy half-assed shading and blurry details I felt. Hence I began to experimenting with new techniques I found from various internet sources. I also took the liberty to feature some side character I have, especially Sharna the lioness whose face hasn't been revealed yet!

And here it is! It looks like the swan and the lioness idling on the benches, one be spectating something afar while the other one is seemingly focused to her read. Wonder if the swan is commenting about the beach ballgame nearby, body of random passerby, or just enjoying the view in general. But guess they are enjoying their time under some shades in their bikinis.

I feel like the foliage shade style here is rather a drastic change than what I used to do. But for the first time the preview makes more sense like more leaf-ish than just random squiggly circles! The rest of the background work is pretty much like normal but feel damn proud with the stone floor detail.
