On a cold evening, the racing circuit was filled with life. A music party was ongoing at the outside venue, while the fewer person with uniforms and jerseys gathered around inside filling the building. The pit lane was bright with lights, in contrast with the vacant spectator seats across Everybody was busy moving around and handling stuff, occupied by their own assigned works. Crews were sometimes exchanging words and throwing light jokes, probably just easing from the tension and boredom. Sounds of radio chatter and tools clinking also filled the air.

Meanwhile, the shark stood still near to outside the room, looking serious. The white suit with black and blue accent stretched and folded as she fidgeting around. Her eyes shifted back and forth between the device screen and the dark view of the sky. The race was not commencing yet, but inside her head was racing already thinking about what's coming next. General plans, weather precautions, backups, considerable contenders, and else. The rest of the day would be spent rather calm, preparing body and minds. Tomorrow she and her ride would make their debut as one of the rising stars, facing the grand battle with million of spectators watching.

Okay.....decided to go back to full background artwork (and as well writing a bit) just so my senses are still kept sharp. Plus...after checking my sketch file, figured a pending sketch featuring my shark. So I thought I can work on with that since it is also been a while I showcased my shark in a racing scene also. The process of the background composing also particularly inspired from racing games trailer movie like this : GRID Autosport - Annoucement Trailer . Love the cinematic angles and as well the soundtrack composed by Phonat! I remember that I got a bit goosebumps at the first time watching it

So here she is, suited with her custom racing suit! She is like really anticipating for the upcoming race, since the other participants will be from around the world. It will be a long and harsh route to reach the top with rather high stakes. Her intuition and resilience will be tested in the grand battleground. Can she and her ride pass the challenge? We'll see...

Super happy with the background work, I'd say! Built the whole background and setting from scratch while few bits are using real life references. Took me quite a while to squeeze in the details like the rendering and lighting as well to keep the view fancy. Love what I did to the polished concrete, though the TV display kinda half-assed done (kinda got burnout doing it tho). Regarding to the texts, thought this is the art where I put more extensive attention to it. Sponsors, Labels, TV text, etc etc (The championship name is kinda mouthful as well, but whatever hahah)
