Unicorn passion requested that i draw something based upon the song of the same name by the dresden dolls... well, i thought she seemed kind of dissapointed by him in the song... so um yup...it's not meant to look like anyone in particular, so no need mention that it doesn't look like their lead singer lady whatsit, i know.

i love that song and this picture. the lighting is superb and i love the tear streak down her cheek. there's a lot of emotion in this picture without having too much going on. beautiful work.

oh, no, you certainly didn't sound ignorant, i think if anyone did it was me.
and i like what she said as well, i picked up an undertone of loneliness in the song, but i guess some folks don't... this was simply the impression i got, that she was very lonely, got herself a "coin operated boy" and then discovered that the true joy in a relationship is in fact the emotions that a robot cannot feel.

I like the darkness in this picture, makes the lighting stand out nicely

hmmm... well i'm not sure i remember the movie, or even if i watched it, but then again, they do say that your subconsious stores things forever... so it's possible that i saw it in a movie and thought it looked cool... it was originally going to be sort of glowing, with lots of litle gears and stuff inside, but it was taking all the focus of the picture so i changed it to this instead. i looked at your idea, too... it's possible i will make a picture like that.
