Even for Lycans, hunts are not always successful, there are times where for many moons game is scarce.
For these hunters, another outting has proved unproductive. Weary that many more hunts as this shall slowly starve their people, one of the clan smiles gently, trying to reassure the lead Huntsman.
"Next time, my brother."

Before a hunt, all participants will coat themselves in a layer of mud, covering their natural fur color. After which they will tie bits of grass, twigs, and any other bits of ground foliage of their hunting grounds to help them blend in and cover unwanted scents.
The Lead hunter is marked by wearing a piercing of the clan's colors and a painted circle around one or both of his eyes to give him the sight to see his pray.
All hunters are given some painted markings, lines across the snout to enhance their smell, paw prints over their chest to give them bravery, or arrows down their legs for swiftness.
