Description
Here is the second tutorial! Go me, go me. It's mah birthday! Not for real, real. Just for play, play!Seriously this file is huge, do not hit full view lightly. As comprehensive as I can be about Illustrator inking. If there are any problems I'll fix them later. It's 1:30 here and I am going to bed. Enjoy.

ive never used illustrator before, its still a bit of a challenge, especially with the pressure thing, and i find it too hard to be accurate with the brush tool alone and yeah i pretty much suck lol.
but anyway thanks for the tutorial

Actually no, Macs are able to take a tablet mouse, but you have to buy that separately.

Well, hopefull it'll help. It isn't going to tell you how to use the whole program, that is why they write giant thick books about Illustrator, but hopefully it'll be useful.
I'm not sure what you mean by avatars look the same. Do you mean in size, style, same image even?

It has it's limitations, as I'm sure you'll discover, but if you're creative you can get around them.

.. just a dashing rebuttal and a quick question @ you: How much time does it take you to ink a medium-size details pic with that method?

You know I ought to pay attention to such things. I kind of get into the zone when I am inking and loose track of time, but I think the Calliopie pic (which is the example) took less than an hour, but I can't be sure.
