Yeah I was trying to find a way make them when I came across the instructables. A few minutes later I found the tutorial for the Miura-ken rose. Next time I'll take a closer look at the tutorial before posting.

yeah. The A Miura-ken beauty rose (I cant help but stress the "a" enough) is great, ill post one later. These roses are only on the frenc forum I believe. Anyways, the papercraft rose tutorial that you found was very nice! Personally, I find cutting out a template and then glueing them together is far too much work. When I was young, I made a lot of tiny roses for some of the works of her.
Now I see dat with an adult eye, I think it's still cute. Lovely job !

I once folded a rose out of a piece of paper that started at about 2"x2"... NEVER AGAIN. Definitely took a lot of patience. Yours looks really good!

My brother used to make these and give me some roses to glue them on hair pins. You should try, the pins look very cool.
