...an inner typhoon

Like many of my works, this piece began quite differently from how it finally ended up. Many of the elements of this piece just "happened" in the sense that they were not originally meant to be in the picture. They just sort of grew out of the idea as the piece evolved. In fact, the final lighting of this piece, was not finalized until the last stages of the work in progress.

In Sprung a Leak I played around with the concept of water and of a leaky roof. The water trickling down breaks the otherwise cozy (although worn down) room. I likewise played around with the composition and lighting of the room, especially in making the water look more realistic and in the grouping of the objects in the room.
