A Chaplain in Terminator armour I just finished painting. The reason I bought and painted this one is because of [link] I will upload the other 5 pics soon as well.I think the aquilaΒ΄s went really well. IΒ΄m also quite pleased with the skull.

brilliant the best model ive seen you do. i dont see the point in chaplains though, i mean hat do they do? librarians cast phsycic heroes fight hard. All chaplains do is look cool when you put them with death company. but still a really good model XD

well still. I was looking in the blood angels codex and realised that they have leadership 10 so it would boost death company leadership too.

Nicely done, on the shoulder though it looks like either the red was put on directly over black or that a wash was allowed to pool near the top, once again nicely done though.

After some layers of Blood Red I used a wash of Babab Black and then I finished with some more (thinned down) Blood Red. Thanks for the feedback

love this mini. haven't it still. skull is very nice. whole bone "eagles" too. love to watch other school of painting bones i know black armor is hard to paint.
there is 1 detail I cant stand. bolter have no holes! drill it or paint it!
and about photo try to do it on darker background or low down white balance in camera when shooting photo of mini.
Fail not the emperor!

I actually bought a drill a couple of days ago but I actually forgot to drill the bolter. And I'm not a real expert with camera's but I'll try something with Gimp next time....

I was concered about that as well but this model doesn't have any lenses on the skull (Lemartes does I believe) and I thought it would give him a more creepy, unnatural look.
