This thing is a combination between a horse. Giraffe and Rhino.
I wonder what should we called it? ( = ____

Reiq, I think it looks great, I don't know about the design guidelines, but I feel you could have gone a little crazier with the design. I'm no creature design expert myself, but I think you could get some inspiration from Wayne Barlowe's designs, they are pretty otherworldy: [link]
Great to see you are taking a different direction and kicking ass like always

probably too dark the style for what I like, I kinda wanted less violent and freaky and more believable and close to nature.

This is so amazing, you mist 4 different animals into one, take that Darwin

Digging the head-horns. Glad this didn't mean you went Brony, not sure how I would feel about that...
(I'm a Brony, but sometimes artists should just stick to what they originally do).

my first thought when i read in your journal that you drew a pony was
"OH GOD HES A BRONY NOW!"

I liked seeing the concept sketches on your blog. How it sort of morphed from a horse to a space horse/giraffe.

Really dig your concept design stuff dude! Really good anatomy on this one and nice dynamics and perspective.
Giraffe, rhino, and a zebra right? I don't think I'm missing anything...though the feet are antelope-esque.
