Most people, if going into fight barehanded, would make fists, but for Sturm the main attacking sign looks more like a pinch. Sturm's fingers end with needles through which he is able to suck out someone else's blood. This cannot be called nutrition, it would be incorrect to say that he "eats" or "drinks" it, but this process is, to some extent, similar to food intake, since he processes what is consumed and spends on self-healing.
Being a medic he knows well where to strike to get to the biggest vessels, and he's one of the few who doesn't have a preferred spot for strikes. While ones aim for the head and the others for the legs, he aims anywhere he can reach. He can even go for the heart if there is an opportunity to shove hands under the rib cage hard enough.
