Description

Fleyes were created almost seventy years ago by Herman von Eiderdaus, a talented flesh-welder at the court of His Majesty Periam the 2nd.

Originally they were just intended as toys for the Dual Princess, but His Majesty soon found other uses for them. We know that he DID use them to spy on his chancellor and thereby uncovered Lord Horndock's conspiracy. And it has always been assumed that he used them to spy on his mistresses too.

Flesh constructs usually only live for a few days, weeks at most, but these Fleyes proved to be surprisingly long-lived. They were designed to fuel themselves by absorbing organic matter through their feet. And there are rumours that some of them might still be active even today.
