Description Captain Talos pinched his nose between his fingers and glared at the view-screen. Four days! Four days was all it took for his ship to break space-time continuum. The Enterprise's engines seemed to hum in response, as if asking what she had to do with the ship in front of them. They had been preparing  to return to Sol for further system tests when the Enterprise's advanced communication arrays picked up a faint federation distress call. The Enterprise's slipstream drive had engaged for the first time as she raced to the source of the call. She had emerged from slipstream to behold a massive ship...a federation ship, but not. He knew the USS Bonaventure was a Baltimore class cruiser like the Enterprise G had been...like the Endeavor had been. The Baltimore class was noticeably smaller than the Phoenix class he commanded.. The Phoenix was the largest ship class in starfleet, The vessel in front of him, however,  dwarfed the  1200 meter long Enterprise and looked nothing like a Baltimore class. Glancing at a holographic readout above the arm of his command chair he realized the vessel as nearly 4.5 km in length. He glanced at his first officer K'tara who analyzed sensor readings without being prompted. "The vessel appears to be federation in origin based on overall structure and markings. However I'm detecting energy and technologies that contradict that assumption." Glancing at a monitor to her right the Romulan commander continued, "Her designations read USS Baltimore Registry number NCX-1967-K United Federation of Planets." Talos frowned, "The is no such registry number in starfleet," he stated. "They seem to have lost power to multiple key systems due to some kind of energy disruption simular to that recorded by the Enterprise E at the Hobus singularity before it collapsed. Based on the readings she would have had to gone through such a singularity to cause such damage" An alternate reality, Talos mused. Not the first time an Enterprise had run into such a situation but still a fairly rare one. The Klingon communications officer Korth spoke up, "sir we're being hailed. Talos gazed at the ship before him, covered light from her multistory windows across her hull..."Onscreen."
