Interesting piece of info about sea sponges. They are the only animal that you can put through a blender and have them survive. Their remaining cells will clump back together and start reforming the organism.
Don't try this with any other animal, please.

What? How can anyone hate Sponge-bob? I hate "Jaws" 'cause it's a bad movie.

Because it's just like Family Guy.
It's stale, the jokes aren't funny, and it's the same crappy over and over again.
The fact that people still like either show is proof that the human race's intelligence is dropping at a fast rate.

Well I think it's a great movie. Why is it bad for you? Do you think it's too scary? Discomforting? What about the character interactions? Are they too much for you? What's the deal?

Nope, just isn't really my thing. I prefer things that I could believe like "Pan's Labyrinth". :3

I see that you prefer fantasy, complex plots perhaps. Well I approve of Jaws because it deals with a real place, a real dangerous animal, corrupt officials, a grizzed fisherman, an outsider policeman who's afraid of the water, but must kill the shark, and a relatively inexperienced student with a passion for sharks.
I think part of the reason that you'd perfer Pan's Labyrinth is perhaps is has modern and advanced effects in comparison to the older animatronic effects. Well my arguement for that is Spielberg wanted to show more of the shark, but it constantly broke down. So he had to show less of it, but it still introduces the feeling of dread that it could attack the crew at any time based on the previous attacks the audience has seen so far. What would your arguement be?

I like something to keep me awake and sharp. Perhaps confuse me a little. :3
The shark, at points, does look rather ridiculous. However, that doesn't really bother me, it's the general film.

And why does the general film bother you? The plot? The location? The crew behind it?

HeatherTrelawney In reply to ARAJediMaster1138 [2012-01-14 08:07:05 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, the plot.
In things like "Pan's Labyrinth" or say, "Van Helsing", there's a certain compassion behind it.

Between the plots of Jaws and Pan's Labyrinth. Why does the latter have "more of a certain compassion behind it" than Jaws?
