No this is a non venomous species(def not be holding it and letting it bite me like that if was haha.. it's Venom not poison.. That's one thing that drives me nuts haha.. You see idiots on tv and stuff saying they "poisonous". That is not true.. Poison is something that you have to drink or breath in.. Venom has to be injected into blood stream..

Try right after a meal.. Is most common time they do it because realigning their jaw.

Yea like with most species. The bad rap get mostly comes from WC animals. You get CB ones and they generally a lot better. Although one thing will say about bloods is they are the most unpredictable snakes have ever worked with lol.. Seem perfectly fine one sec,and next strike out like a viper lol
