meh... ps3 is still better than the xbox360, first off do i have to mention the 64% failrate the xbox360 once had? now its like... 33% or such... but that vs the ps3 8,4% i think it was... there is a huge diff!
and the xbox360 got better games? like shit of gears and halo-dicktards? awesome...
btw i dont own a console... just in case some of u tards would like to call me a fanboy... i only own a pc, thats all.

I really thinks it's surprising that it took a year of being up before I started to get flamed. 👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Take yourself back to when this was posted. What games did the PS3 have to rally any support for the console? The PS3 is recently (just recently) getting anything that comes close to replay value and community (whether you play those games or not, you've got to acknowledge that fact that the community exists and is well-known enough that YOU who don't own a console are aware of them) that the 360 had. Fail-rate caused a bad mark in the first gens. Much like Live made a black mark in the original xbox. 8.4% failrate is great when no one plays the console to begin with.
Now that is said, I'm a PC guy myself. I use it for FPS games. Keyboard and mouse all the way. So I'm with you on that. But when I want to play something else, I don't think Sony has offered enough to buy one of their systems which are geared towards people with screens larger than 56" (fact: on a screen smaller than that, it's impossible to tell the difference in 1080P and 1080i) or people with THX quality sound systems (the 14 channels of sound offered with blu-ray). so yeah, my setup (and probably yours) doesn't meet that level.
All of that being said, I don't have anythign against the PS3. It's a great system. The largest factor in determining which is best for anyone relies solely on what types of games you're interested in. Sony is Japanese and thus thier games are more J-style. Microsoft is American. Thus their games are geared toward an American market.

i wasn't trying to flame anyone (can't even remember what i wrote, anyway). 👍: 0 ⏩: 0
first off i dislike all consoles so i by logic (pure logic) goes for what is best and the only thing xbox has better is a better gpu and like 2 exclusive titles worth playing (halo is not one of them, god no those games suck!), thats it.
ps3 does everything better... it even gives free online play with PSN... does xbox live do that? heck no!
uhm... the failbox had a production failrate of over 60% dude...
true... but then again i dont use it as a media centre (which it btw also does better than the xbox xD), its like they have added 3D for it... i will probably never ever use 3D but its still something that xbox does not.
uhm... pretty much every game that comes for xbox comes for ps3 as well as the other way around... so thats not so true... just beside the fact that xbox really hardly gets any J-style games beside those by squre and such.
but i have to be honest here... the main reason i threw my xbox away was because it burned out (shitty console) and i would never go buy something again that has died out on me so i went for a ps3 instead which also had the power supplier inside (that's a huge thing for me with my mess of cables!).
