Somehow reminds me of hemp. Don't ask me why. I like it... I wish I could paint like this.

That's what happens when you get a Daily (congrats!)
Hemp is a plant (cannabis) that is used to make fabric with a similar texture of your painting.

Wow I love this work. I had never heard of encaustic before this but I certainly love how you used it and it sounds fun to work with. The combination of colours and textures makes for some very interesting effects. Some areas appear metallic while others look like limestone or flesh. You almost achieved an iridescent effect on some areas, which I absolutely love. Keep up the good work!
