Description

This was initially a side project not intended for wear until next year at the earliest. Just something I started since I found the wedding satin on sale at the fabric store and decided to spring for it, since I had planned on doing 5 outfits of C.C's from the Mutuality Artbook that I love so very much. This dress was one of them.

There are many things about it I'm not happy with, since I pretty much drafted my own pattern for it, the sleeves don't fit quite right. Also, the edges needed Fray Check, but for some reason parts of it didn't hold and some raw edging showed, especially in the sleeves. Between my boyfriend and myself, we ran at least two lines of Check and it still didn't hold. -____-
Also, I decided to wear a cute little pair of dress shoes Friday during some of my other shoots and I paid for it dearly with pancake blisters that by the day of this shoot were extremely painful and swollen. So, I learned from my unfortunate blunder and wore flats the rest of the weekend even though the damage had already been done.
Despite the setbacks and the misfitting, it was still a wonderful cosplay to wear and I'm glad I decided to go for it, even though I wasn't happy with parts of it.
