yes, it's table salt poured over the wash and then brushed away when dried. 8D

Are you using masking fluid to make the swirls of white amidst the background, or do you lay the white over after the wash is dry?

i'm actually doing that in white ink. >w< it's pretty opaque but it does take a few layers. ]; the smarter thing to do would be to use permanent masquing fluid but i'm out. xD and i've never had any luck with rub away masquing fluid. ><

I've never worked with ink, so I didn't know one could achieve effects like that using ink. Maybe I'll pick some up. :>
