Ok yes I don't pretend to be amazingly good at this or anything because I'm not so this is probably a stupid complicated way that can easily be shortcutted but my friend asked me how I coloured on the Gimp and I started to explain... a few seconds later and she was already lost so... this is what happened...
I sorta liked it so I've decided (after a lot of thinking and many cups of coffee) to put it up. But not just because I liked it but Ive found there isn't that many Gimp tutorials about colouring and for a gimp user (Like myself) that can be quite annoying!
Anyway this is how I colour on the gimp but if there's a quicker way then, by all means I would love to hear it!

I'm stuck, I got to the colouring part, and I've chose the green I want/need for my picture, only it's coming out grey instead, what am I doing wrong? D:

Have you changed the mode to multiply?

the same thing happened to me,..... and yeah,.. its on multiply.

Hello this is my first comment on this side though I have been watching it for quite some time now. I've never felt the need to comment on other tutorials I have read around here, but this really helped me so I just wanted to leave a comment to thank you for this tutorial which was more useful than anything else I've seen around here^^

hey! have u made any tutorials for gimp on having a layer with a sketch, then your permanent lines, and color????

Erm I haven't. I usually do all my lineart with Fine liner pens because I find it hard to do it on the computer, Sorry, I'm glad that you like this tut though

haha lol you notice everything! Yes I do stay up late, actually I'm quite slow at colouring on the computer and yes I use Winamp and yes I listen to Evenesecence and Within Temptation.
