Description
The Daughter of Light and The Son of Strength.

Here you have Amarie Breeze, the daughter of Arandor and Hailamei, and her older half-brother, Sutei-Midoka, the son of Kashoku and Mitsukai.

And of course Arandor and Kashoku are the same person. My active watchers should know that XD

Anyway, so, Amy descends from Amarie, and Knuckles descends from Sutei. The birthmarks in question are passed from one generation to the next, but fade over time in an attempt to protect the bearers of the blood. However, when the powers of the Son of Strength and the Daughter of the Light are awakened, she marks show themselves to confirm it. However, on Knuckles and Amy they don't remain permanently.

Think of how the triforces glow at certain times on the backs of Link's, Zelda's and Ganondorf's hands. That's the same idea here.

However, before the marks fade, they're permanent ones, like Amarie and Sutei have here. Basically I had the idea to draw them, subtly gesturing to their marks. Amarie has her hand held to hers, on her neck, and Sutei has a pointed finger under his, on his arm.

This was also an excuse to draw them since "Birth of Hope" is almost over. Plus, the only other time I've drawn Amarie she came out pretty bad.

If you look at it you can see Amarie's mark better, as well as the design of it she had stitched into her dress. The artwork is awful though XD

The mark is pretty much the same for both of them, only the fork in it is bent in one direction for the Son of Strength, and the other way for the Daughter of Light.

So yeah...just an excuse to draw Amarie and Sutei. lol! I LOVE how Amarie came out, even if her eyelashes on outside eye bother me. She also looks taller than Sutei but she isn't...it's her ears that make her look taller. Her hand isn't that great either, but I'm still practicing, and that's the best I could get it without ruining the paper.

Sutei...eh, no complaints, well, except for his diadem. It's supposed to be made of solid gold with opal plates, but the way it's curved it looks like a headband...something flexible. His hand looks pretty good, but it could be better.
