Next character study: Nadir Bertier

The younger of the Bertier twins, and Elianaron Brokenstar's anti-form. That's right, don't forget, the Bertier Twins are Aranelion and Elianaron's anti-forms, just like Halo is Camillia's and Grace is Hannah's...yeah.

I actually plan to submit that bust in the lower right corner, along with Zenith's, side by side as a separate deviation. As hard as it is to get these twins, along with Air and Ell, to look identical, I think these two busts are the closest I've ever gotten. You'll see once I'm done editing it.

Anyway, here's Nadir's character study.

Top left, yeah, you see a trend with the pattern of these pictures. Nadir, I guess something pissed him off really badly here. I like this shot simply because it shows you how his mohawk sits on his head without his ears in the way. Speaking of ears, the one with the earring gave me a lot of trouble.

Bottom left, probably my favorite of the smaller shots. It's a pose similar to one of Zenith's. Captures Nadir at one of his rare calm moments.

Top center; Yes, remember, Nadir smokes. However, he's not a habitual smoker, like Joel Richmond is, before he quits. Nadir only smokes whenever he's forced to watch Zenith and Halo...you know... *COUGH* Yeah, hotel rooms never have separate bedrooms, so Nadir always has to find somewhere to hangout if Zenith and Halo want some time alone together. He says he smokes to stave off..."urges" *shifts eyes* LOL that's part of why he quits by the time he meets Grace XD! But yeah, leave him alone when he gets like that.

Bottom center; I love this one for some reason XD I think it's that expression, even if his teeth are messed up. Yeah...his other foot disappeared XP He's like, "Not another hotel room with no place for me to hide." Poor baby.

Yeah...I drew his ear to show off his silver earring. Well, I drew Halo's keychain and Zenith's wedding ring necklace, but I didn't think Nadir's scarf would fit the bill here, or his whip, so I just went with the earring. He got his done at the same time Halo got her ears pierced too just so you know

Okay, now, the right three shots. Nadir's eye is angry here to make it different from Zenith's, plus you've got the red tip from his mohawk there. Other than that they're pretty much the same. And yes, I know mohawk isn't the best term for his hairstyle now...work with me.

The larger body shot of him reminds me a bit of UnDark, as far as the expression and the semi-similar hairstyle. Plus, his mohawk is kinda wrecked here. As you can see, it is NOT easy to draw. It only came out right on the bust.

Now, as for the bust, you'll see this again. I'm going to submit it along with Zenith's so you can see them together. It'll require some editing, but I think this is the closest I've made either of my sets of twins look identical. XD

I don't think I'll do a study of Grace just yet, so it'll either be UnDark, or UnLight...or possibly one other character I thought of doing. I thought of him whilst drawing Nadir's pictures so maybe that's a clue XP

Nadir is again, the youngest twin, and, like Elianaron, did the most changing. He's the roughest, and probably the easiest one to anger, but like Zenith has a heart that wants to love and be loved within him. In WoLaD he is obsessed with finding out about his parents, and it is the possibility of saving them that convinces him to cooperate with Shadow. However, Nadir never fully trusts or believes Shadow, and there is friction between them for a long time, and he only keeps the peace for the sake of his parents, his brother, and his family. In the end though, he'll do whatever it takes to set things right.
