More Avatar love <333 I want to see this movie again so badly. I'm already writing a little short story for it ^^Jake and Neytiri are precious <3 I am already dying for the sequels James Cameron promised if the first one was "successful"
I think it's safe to say he's gonna have to make good on that promise

lawl I am telling everyone I know to see it. Everyone simply HAS to! The previews don't so it justice! They don't show you the beauty of Pandora. One scene in particular echos an event we experienced IRL, and it's just a beautiful movie.

I have seen it, and it is a good movie, just nothing I'll die to see again. But then... I did only see it in 2-D, when everyone says it's gotta be in 3-D.

True, it was rather epic, but I found that a great portion of it was derived from other adaptive movies. For example, I saw another movie where I guy wanted to recruit a African tribesman for a basketball team, but he had to become a member of the tribe first. Sound familiar?

Oh please. If you let that ruin your opinion of a movie you might as well let it ruin all of the movies with that same theme.
Besides, when did that movie you were talking about come out? James Cameron wrote this script in 1996.
A lot of movies share story ideas. I mean, come on, the super hero saving the damsel in distress has been WAY over done, along with many other themes. How much more original can people get?

Eh. I understand. It did scream to me though. The ending was so beautiful, and watching the great tree fall was like watching 9-11...at least for the Na'vi.
