I guess you could call this the third picture in the series. I'd put words on it but they would spoil the ending of "More Than Innocent"

And YES I am going to write it. I want to finish "Birth of Hope" first. I plan to start work on the Epilogue for it tonight, then I can write up "More Than Innocent" before continuing WoLaD with "The 1st Interlude"

So, anyway, this is Halo, Zenith, and their baby girl Little Neferine. They named her after Zenith's mother, Neferine, and call her Little Neferine to differentiate, because if this takes place in the WoLaD setting, which it could, Neferine would come back at some point, so they'd need to be able to differentiate between them.

Some of you might think Little Neferine is kinda familiar though. I don't blame you if you do. When I was coloring her I noticed she looks a lot like Torch and Evie's daughter, Autumn.

They're not terribly identical, infact the only thing that's really similar are the colors. Little Neferine will end up with purple eyes, and once the two girls grow up they'll be quite different from one another, so, I'm not too worried about that.

LOL Part of why they look identical are the blankets they're wrapped in! Autumn's was yellow too. However, hers was highlighted with orange. I was doing Little Neferine's with pink but the yellow turned it into an orange color. I added the pink with the airbrush tool in Paint. Still, the blankets look the same.

Anyway, the title "Just In Time" alludes to why the scene is like it is. Obviously that's not a hospital bed Halo is in, but rather, a stretcher. Little Neferine wasn't born in a hospital, but instead, was born somewhere quite different.

What I wanted to write on here woulda spoiled that so I held back. Anyway, Nadir, with Grace's help, is able to clear Halo's name, and not a moment to soon, for soon after Zenith gets the news that Halo is free and they can come home out of hiding, the five months they had are suddenly up.

But yeah, look out for the story. I actually have an idea for one more cover to do for this, only it would feature Nadir and Grace for once. If I make it a five part series I might as well do two more covers...we'll see.

Had fun with this one...no real complaints. I love the coloring on Halo's blanket ^^
