Description
An idea that started off innocently enough looks like it's found itself in a later story in WoLaD.

To be honest this isn't the first time I've thought of it, while it's only the first idea I've liked for it.

I wanted to draw Sutei-Midoka, Alamalie, and Amarie in a modern style. This is how they'd look in the modern era, when the bulk of WoLaD takes place, roughly 2000 years after they lived, and died.

However, there's a reason both Sutei and Alamalie are frowning, which is also why Amarie is smiling a little.

The idea I had was to have their spirits snatched from the afterlife and re-animated. Amarie takes it upon herself to reassume living form in order to save them.

And if I have to tell you caused the mayhem...boy where have you been X_X Wait, that's right, nobody pays attention to the story xP

Nah it's just one of Mukot's hair-brained schemes. Sometimes he annoys even me, and I created him!

Anyway, only Amarie is aware of who she is. Sutei and Alamalie know nothing, including that the fact that they're supposed to be dead. Trouble really kicks up when Sutei meets Kelsey, Hidama's daughter. To him, she looks identical (nearly) to his wife, Kasaline, and while he cannot remember her, he's drawn to Kelsey for this reason, and becomes extremely defensive of her.

Alamalie, on the other hand, is wandering around, finding no purpose, and hopes finding her father will change all that.

But...Arandor is busy having his soul rebuilt while housed inside of Kashkie. Amarie, however, is determined to bring her half-siblings back to the afterlife. It seems that cutting the puppet strings that Mukot holds is the only way to do it.

I'll expand on this later, but it is a working idea, so consider it a preview of a later story XP

There are some flaws here and there. I drew in Sutei's abs with heavier red strokes, instead of inking them since I was hating how that looks when I do it. However, the scanner messed it up, so I just had to blot it all out. I'll have to keep working on that technique. At least I can say echidnas have thicker than average fur and that's why it looks that way.

However Alamalie's middrift contradicts this X_X

Also, Amarie's pose, the 3/4 angle, it nearly killed me.

Let's just say it looks better in real life.

Amarie sure is pretty isn't she? ^^ Well, she is the daughter or Arandor and Hailamei <3 Genetics ^^

But wait, did I forget to mention she's Amberly's anti-form?
