You might remember in my art summary for 2015 I linked to another picture I called "Two" but I had only uploaded it to my sta.sh. I might upload it at some point but I'm not sure since it's from last November XD I was going to wait to post this as well, but since it might be longer until I can properly scan it, I figured I'd just do the best that I could and upload it now.

This is technically "Two" Part 1 as it takes place before the second picture. I found a reference I liked and decided to draw Luke, and it turned into this. The way I see it is they're in the middle of a battle, and Leslie gets separated from Luke and the platoon. Luke peels off to find her, determined to leave nobody behind or unaccounted for. He does manage to find her, after suffering a bit of a beating, including a very nasty cut across his neck as you can see. He keeps going and eventually finds her not too well off herself, but alive.

The second picture, shows them alone, hence "Two"

They're separated from the platoon and have to trek across the country to find them. Yes Luke can use portals, but that does him little good when he doesn't know where they went to begin with. Plus it just ruins the story if everything is that easy XD Maybe he was too injured, or perhaps the nature of the invasion cuts off the power of portals. Use your imagination. That's what I do lol

Anyway, Gem helped me out with some of the shading, but really I just enjoy pencil shadings XD It's probably my favorite art style even if I'm not that great at it. It's the most fun to practice anyway XP And as usual I love my baby Luke. Unlike my last picture with him, I didn't have a reference for the gun, so be gentle on me.

I did this back in January so...enjoy XD I still might try and draw Luke at least once a month, but I promise I'm doing other things lol I'm into Omega and Medula's children presently XP
