Wow. It's funny because exactly one year ago yesterday I posted the very first picture of UnDark and UnLight. The story has changed a bit since then, but man, look how far they've come from this: [link]

I actually like them better as Anthros XD And before we begin, no, UnLight is NOT shorter than UnDark. What happened is I drew UnLight's shoes too small.

Okay, so, here's a little about them.

In WoLaD so far, UnLight is the only one of them to have shown up. I've given a lot of insight into UnLight outside of the story, but I think I'll go a bit further into his role.

When he is born, and is told by his father Mukot that Kalak, Arandor, and even his own "older brother" Shadow, have all hurt Mukot, UnLight immediately resolves to destroy them. His hatred towards Shadow is the greatest, mostly because he feels Shadow betrayed Mukot by running away and siding with Kalak. Many times Shadow is referred to as the Eldest son of Mukot, and this disgusts UnLight, who no longer considers Shadow to be a son of Mukot, but rather the bastard and adopted son of Kalak, his biggest enemy.

It also disgusts UnLight that he owes his life to Shadow. Were it not for Shadow's decision to abandon his future as Ultimate Evil, he would have never abandoned that dark seed that is responsible for UnLight's ability to survive without Light. Sometimes it causes UnLight to want to show Shadow mercy in battle, along with the fact that Shadow has dealt with countless tragedies as the story progresses, especially Arandor's death.

UnLight, unlike Mukot and his brother UnDark, is not wicked and cruel. He is instead angry and out to accomplish his mission, which is to kill Kalak and Shadow. Although Kashkie bears what's left of Arandor's soul, UnLight does not want to kill Kashkie, dubbing him another innocent victim of Kalak's stupidity.

UnLight despises anyone who causes harm to women and children. Time and time again he tries to keep Mukot and UnDark focused on only Kalak and Shadow, but the father and son want to hurt everyone who sides with Kalak, especially the children of Arandor, which include Jade and Amy.

At first UnLight is alright with hurting the males who rise against him, but doesn't want to kill them, again, believing they are all being used by Kalak and don't understand what they are doing. He always shows mercy to females and children, and ends a fight once his opponent can no longer fight back. Because he is lax in his brutality, over time, the bond he shares with Mukot weakens.

UnDark, the younger son, replaces UnLight's place in Mukot's heart. Unlike his older brother, UnDark loves causing pain to everyone. He thinks that if those helping Kalak aren't smart enough to know not to, that they all deserve death. He hates them more than he hates Shadow, who by the time of the major conflicts, UnDark believes, is old, withered, and beyond his time.

He is determined to destroy everyone helping Kalak, including Shadow, before assisting his father Mukot in the final battle that will destroy the Guardian of Light. UnDark loves hearing his victims cry out, and laughs as he fights, feeling joy, and absolutely no fear or remorse. He also thinks it's funny to torture his female victims.

UnDark only cares for a few people. He loves Mukot dearly, and will do whatever he can to please him. He also loves UnLight, but just as with Mukot, as UnLight turns more and more to being lenient, UnDark begins to grow frustrated with him.

UnDark is extremely cocky and believes nobody, save Mukot, is stronger than he is. He is happy that Arandor is dead, and thus must not be reminded that it was Arandor's sacrifice that gave him life. It is Arandor who he thinks is the stupidest of them all, having a chance to rebel against Kalak, and even doing so, but feeling remorse, causing UnDark to label him as weak. He constantly shares this opinion with Shadow, leading to fights.

If he loses a fight, he gets extremely angry and throws a tantrum before fleeing. He likes to take out his frustrations on his Malevil soldiers. The Malevils are closer to UnLight for this very reason, and are very fearful of the younger son of Mukot.

In the end, it's the differences between UnLight and UnDark that will really affect how some events in the story play out.

Anyway, I love UnDark and UnLight, despite how cruel they can both be. UnLight I love especially. You'll see why

But yeah, besides drawing UnLight's shoes too small, thus making him look shorter, I love how this looks! ^^ His hand held out was an experiment and is probably the only other thing I don't like. This is one of the first times I've done a frontal view that came out awesome ^^
