i have been rather lazy putting them together but photoshop was behaving for me today so here they are!!! enjoy

now she looks much better! altho...i hate these photos! i forgot to make sure my camera was on macro (the lil flower setting) so the pics suck. but she was picked up by her new, and always intended to be mommy, =MichiTheThird maybe her new mommy, or her new mommy's cousin will take better pics for me... *begs*

anyway as with all things there is a story behind it. i have been in denial of how awful demoness looked for many years, a few weeks shy of 3 years to be exact. but when michi said there was a possibility of a visit i dug her out and voila! her old horns and wings crumbled when i pulled them free but they were never very secure before.

things i kept- eye color, and jewels on her head, and her necklace.

what i got rid of- feathers around wings (they were only there to cover my bad paint job!), red heart on hoof (turned her leg pink), horns and wings.

how i did it...i made the wings individually and not on the pony, which is why they don't set up. sad but for a secure fit i didn't have much choice in how they sat on her. i also did her horns individually and not on her. i baked all 4 pieces with their wire structures. upon cooling the wings got a lot of trimming! exacto knife and sand paper went to work adding depth and curve on the tops as well as the bottoms. i carefull added gradient paint in two shades of silver, working with quite a bit of water. i attached the pieces and wired the wings to eachother and the horns to eachother.

then i tried to remove her red heart. i got a pink leg. so off to the sketch book to design some abstract designs for her leg. now she has a red jewel, two shades of silver, black and red in a weird design covering it.

i added a design on her non display hip to kind of balance her. it is very similar to her leg design and also includes a red jewel.

michi seemed pleased with her when she saw her yesterday. i am glad. thank you michi and yadiyada27 for visiting! i don't have many artistic friends face to face and it felt good to discuss things everyone else stares at me like i'm speaking a different language.
