So far from seeing youtubers play it while they scream in agony, I've made the decision to just stick to watching them play it instead. Otherwise id end up throwing my controller out the window xD;

No kidding. I used keyboard. By the time I beat the game on normal I'd died 528 times. Grim Matchstick killed me exactly 50 times. The Devil broke me exactly 70 times. I counted.

How many rage quits did you do?? I can only go through two bosses before giving up for the whole day!

No rage quits at all. At most I had to give up because I needed sleep. After Prototype 2's last boss killed me 39 times on Insane difficulty I've been good about rage quits.
I don't want to say more, I don't know how far you've gotten and I might spoil you recounting my exploits in Cuphead Hell.

Right so, I kept a list of how many times I died on each stage. Cagney in world 1 was the first difficulty spike: Before him I beat the World 1 bosses in 0 or 3 deaths, but Cagney killed me 13 times before I got past him.
World 2 was filled with Cagney+ bosses. The clown killed me 18 times. The sugar lady 19 times. Grim Matchstick gave me another difficulty spike at a whopping 50 deaths.
World 3 was, luckily, not filled with Grim+ bosses. Though the bee boss came close at 48 deaths. Mermaid 'only' killed me 11 times.
Infuriatingly, one of the World 3 Run-And-Guns killed me fifty-fucking-five times.
King Dice was the one I almost raged on. He 'only' killed me 30 times before I won, but his fight is so long and arduous.
The Devil, on the other hand, I never got even the least bit frustrated on. My first attempt he mopped the floor with me in 10 seconds flat, and like I said, killed me a total of 70 times. Attempt 71 was my victory. I never got even the least bit frustrated through all of it. I smiled the whole time. The Devil was everything I wanted a challenging, brutal final boss to be.

And hearing about dying against the Devil only 70 times- I'm probably going to loss to him twice as much.
