Now, the reason why I haven't commented on this yet is because it stunned the words right out of me when I first saw it, haha. Really beautiful work, I love all the details you put into this; how the flowers fade back, the reflected green light, the smoothness of how you applied the watercolor, the subtle texture of his fur- I could go on and on. It's really a pleasing image to behold, and I think you captured Reese perfectly. Thank you very much! It definitely made my day.

Awww... I did wonder a little, but now I'm blushing! It ended up being more work than I expected, and at the first wash I thought I'd effed it up, but this is probably one of the better backgrounds I've done. Watercolor is one of my favorite mediums. I think mostly I was just really inspired by the character design, though. He's such an elegant, gorgeous creature, and a lot of his features appeal to what I like to draw. He was awesome to get to work with!

Oh this is beautiful! Reese turned out great in your style-- I especially like how his legs turned out. The background is just lovely; I like how you give the impression of flowers even in the distance, and that just a nice, nice forest.

Thanks! I've drawn characters with that kind of hoofed-animal-anthro legs before, so that helps. I used photo reference for the background, but it took painfully long to paint. Still worth it, though.

Wow, this is beautiful. What do you call this creature? He seems very disturbing, but at the same time majestic and peaceful. Excellent work!
