A request from my sister. She wanted something like this image but with Nine instead of Eleven. I decided to take on the photo manip challenge! Note that this is intended to be Sam Tyler, NOT the Master, hence the "on Mars" part of the title. (Sam Tyler from the brilliant Life on Mars).Sources:

Cripes, and now I'm trying to refind my sources with Google Image Search and I'm realizing I could have found SO MUCH BETTER SOURCES if I'd tried a little harder. Le sigh.

Sam Tyler hasn't opened his Fob Watch yet which makes him a more 'by the book' guy than Sherlock himself! That would be entertaining indeed. We're also assuming that The Doctor landed in 1973... Sherlock will be happy he doesn't have to plaster Nicotene patches all over himself, but he will miss the forensics. John would be familiar with the 'old school' way of doing things though. I would love to see someone write a fanfiction based off of this image, and if you do happen to write one, make sure to drop me a note!
