some times we think we are too small to beat some problems, but knowing your own power and using it wisely is the key for succes!A pokemon fan art! yay!, i grew up playing pokemon, this is part of my history, so i thought it would be cool to do an image about it!
let me know what do you think about it!

Sure!, this one was made very long ago, however, i can tell you about the process for sure!
First!, this piece sparked from my passion towards pokemon!, so i tried to imagine the Pokemon battle from Pikachus perspective, > how it feels to be so small against a giant Charizard but still knowing that you have your own skill and your own chances to survive, so basicallyΒ
1-Visualize the scene on your mind, if you can, project yourself as one of the characters and visualize it from his/her/its perspective (like in your mind navigate on an actual 3d scene)!. then become the character!.. Freeze the moment (like stop the video on your mind) and make quick notes about it (small thumbnails! (really quick and loose ones ) so you can decide for the best composition
2-Make sure to play AWESOME EPIC music!, usually related to the subject, on my case i was listening all the pokemon remixes I found! the ones that really made me feel epic!
3-paint! keep refining, testing, show it so you can get feedback! and most important
ENJOY the process!

Holy shit I just really like the lighting, how it looks like and this is what it feels like to Pikachu from his perspective. This really gave me goosebumps. I can imagine how Pokemon would look in real life Way Cool!!!

i fell the same way with other great artist, i guess is really hard to dont feel that way, we always compare ourselves with the others, and thats really unfair, not all the artists have the same opportunity or study, or time to do so, etc, but what makes a great artist is its own passion for what they love.
so, as me, fight against the jelousness and lets keep creating stuff yey!

I especially like how you drew Pikachu's fur, it looks so much better than the less realistic style in the anime and the games. And Charizard looks really cool, too! They should look like that in the games.

I love how real the pokemon look here! And the electricity effect looks very fitting where you placed it as well as the lights in the background, again, looks really realistic. Pikachu looks so fluffly... best not to touch him
