How do you tell when something like this is finished? I mean, it seems like you could keep adding details, another spot, another bit of light over and over and over? I remember there was this art, painter, massive scale biblical realistic stuff and he worked on a piece for five years then painted over it in white to start again...

Really amazing progress. The colours, the depht, the posture... I'm very much overwhelmed. It looks as if the faces would really come off the canvas any minute to then tear each other apart. Really really well done and really creepy.

I don't think that it is in danger of looking like a zombie, the skincolour isn't greenish enough for that and it doesn't look rotten

The Thing (1983) is hands down one of the best horror films that ever exists. I love The Thing, and everything about it. The fact that they got the technology right back then is astonishing. I haven't watched the 2011 version cause most reboots are garbage, but I heard good things about it.

2011 is not a remake its the prequel of the original ( the Norwegian version ) so you can watch the 2011 version first and then the 1983 version and i have to say the newer version is just as good

brilliant work Rhyn, There is nothing about this I don't like. The colors, the texture, and most of all the subject. I can't imagine the finished piece being better.
