Description
It definitley needs some more tweens, and needs to look more.... squishy.... but otherwise I'm pretty happy with it! Hopefully I can begin to get more of a grasp on animation and do some more complicated one in the future. I'm hoping to enter some MAPs to help me improve too.

Here's a tip for cat run cycles; the front left and back right legs move the same, and the front right and back left move the same. The back legs also walk in the same steps as the front paws.

Thank you! That's really helpful. I'll be sure to remember that.

Yup! That's how cats can walk on fences and stuff.

I didn't draw one, since I wanted to keep the animation simple.

Nice job, this looks good!!!
Uuuuum, I think don't be afraid to exaggerate the movements!!!! With animation, exaggeration is usually really good and makes it turn out better!!!! Exaggerate the poses and expression and w/ever else you want to have more "life"!!!

Thanks!
That's a good tip, I've heard that you have to make things squish and stretch in animation, though I was a little afraid to try it. I'll experiment with it more, thanks for the tip!

Try making the strides longer. It may help. I'm actually not sure. XD

this looks really good!! looking at it, i'd say remember that the legs are limbs- and they all connect on a pivot point, like the joints in a Barbie doll. so rather than moving the legs back and forth, they should be swinging up and around, in a somewhat more circular motion. the stomach also flops a bit; try stretching it horizontally a little bit rather than up & down
other than that, it looks great!! the head movement is spot-on, and the lines & the coloring keep consistency super duper well. the overall animation is really smooth too, and it's just,, aaaa it's so great for a first run cycle!! fantastic work!!! i think anyone would be thrilled to have you in their MAP~Β
