I've been thinking a lot about my own skill as an artist and there are a lot of areas I would like to improve. Two of those are lighting and composition. Many of my drawings come out feeling a bit flat so i will experiment with a lot more dynamic and colored lighting. This makes the drawing feel a lot more 3D.Also when i draw something i don't plan it good enough so at times I end up having a lot of empty space to fill. This is the hardest part to improve. Composition can really make or break a drawing.
I drew this so I could try and improve on those two areas.
Why Chopper? What a silly question. Cause he's awesome!
Edit: Toned down the light on his hat and antler.

Aww, heheh, Chopper is awesome indeed, and I think you drew him so very well! I love your style with colors and shading, and I think that this is an excellent view of him!

Awesome; I thought it was a render from the thumbnail. My only critique would be that his antler looks a little too rounded towards his hat. Looking at various figures and models, it seems that it should come out more "straighter"? It's still very cool though. Are you trying to avoid copyright infringement? Where's the Coke logo on that can?

Well, the shading is much nicer now. It shows a lot of improvement. The composition is fine as well, I think. Still, practice makes perfect, but your art is very, very nice at the moment. I hope to see it become even more awesome than it already is vwv

But you should watch the description... I think you made a mistake... "...dynamic lighting suck as colored lights..." doesn't it should be "such as colored light"?
Because "suck" is a bit naughty xD

Hello! I've found your art very entertaining, and when this popped up in my devwatch thing, I recognized chopper imediately! 
I'm not one to comment on lighting or shading, as I'm not very good at either... But playing around with a 3D software made me think a bit more about lighting....
This looks like you have two lamps on him- one facing the front of his hat, the other facing the back of his pack. I see that with Thor, you only used one lamp... maybe a bit harsher lighting to emphasize the hammer's lightning... I suppose it really depends on the artist or viewer, but I think that one lamp might work better for this picture.
The lighting on the soda can... seems to incorporate the lighting that bounces off from the shirt the most, but I think it might deserve a tapering gleam from the front-facing lamp as well.

One of the two reasons behind this pic was to have more then one light source so i can't really agree with you on that part. I do think you have a point regarding the soda can though! Thank you! :3

I think the color change on the most well-lit parts is too extreme on the antler and hat. That said, I'm not an artist, and probably don't know best.
