"Chicago Loop", 24"x36", oil on canvas. Back in 2016, took the photo which this painting was based on after work. It was a rainy evening, everyone couldn't wait to get back home. Somehow I was very excited about testing the new camera and didn't mind the rain at all. Specifically remembered the shutter speed set was 1/30 sec., you could see the different degrees of motion blur on the pedestrians and the CTA bus. The "L" train wasn't in the photo, but I really wanted it to be included in the painting so just had to imagine it. The original photo will be posted in the comment section for comparison.
