we're on a family vacation this week, with both sons, one daughter-in-law, and our grandson. lots of fun. we're in a big cottage together a few blocks from the beach. yesterday was overcast but today is

thanks, Isabelle. there was some luck here, i had a little black box that something-or-other had come in. i started tearing it up and flattening it out to see what would happen... and these great scraps appeared.

Many (most?) collages fill the canvas, and they can sometimes be a bit overwhelming as a result. Here you've given the scraps room to breathe, and it allows the viewer to focus. The dearth of words encourages the viewer to savor the shapes and colors. I like this a lot, Richard.
This is the second horizontal format in a row. Start of a trend perhaps?
