Love the letter fragment (what tempted me in) but I recon the real revel;ation is the auto-ski-o-matic the girl on the left has! She doesn't even need the boat!

thanks, I really like that one myself - my color schemes are seldom that bold, it was a lot of fun - and the "like you've never" text scrap made me smile somehow

I use the originals. There would be little color changes if I scanned and printed images. And I like the feel of the original papers.

yeah... I know there's no "real" reason to think that way - my good friend *derkert is a big proponent of digital collage - it just doesn't feel right to me. And I'm just doing art to do what I feel like doing by my own rules, so if I think it's cheating, to me it's cheating!

These skiers! If I was in the habit of turning t.v.s on in the morning, I'd expect them to go sailing by the set of Good Morning America. A cheerfully iconic bunch if ever there was. I like the little front end loader, he reminds me of Trogdor.

The urgency of these is simply not to be denied, especially with that powerful Tonka-truck arm being all clenched and everything. Actually, those water skiers look like they may be running into the sand pretty much right about...now! Yup, pretty darn urgent!
