The winds brought it together, and the tires rolled, the flames burned, and everything came to the man with the light in his eyes who gentled it's unruly nature into a story he could share.Β

your four new collages seem to be very text oriented and visually abstract and spare - not much heavy color contrasts and with simple form .
This one looks very harmonious . Candles are nice touch with all abstraction , they donΒ΄t stand out too much , but add ... Β  ..
..Β  dimension Β  .

Thanks, Markus. The candle scrap was one I began with here - didn't know where it would lead but it was so nice I wanted to do something with it.

Try to describe anything accurately in words; it's damned near <[strikeout] impossible.

Mm-hmm. I wonder if verbal communication is in fact - or in part - not capturing something in words but using words that evoke the same thing in the hearer's or reader's mind that the speaker or writer has in mind, through some kind of not-fully-understandable process. I heard a professor say something like that once in a very heavy lecture on communication - it was decades ago and I don't remember it verbatim but that may be something like what he meant.

I don't think words can even evoke everything in an object.

Yeah, I agree.
