without words. wonderful how you combine this. with those fragments of paper.. i can recognize face on the top - profile.. silent.. connecting fragments.. chain.. powerful..

There are many ways how to meet someone in silence.

i thought they are more like boots (but the idea is much less poetic and powerful i know )
i love the dashes!
i love it all

hey you're here
boots is good! i see that too, it's all a matter of scale
and thank you!
the piece seems kind of extreme to me - i'm not sure exactly what it's doing but i feel like it's doing it as hard as it can

Saw this and thought it's going to fall, Isabelle beat me to it. Well I guess the tower of babel did. Ah those little dashes, they ground it .

Yes and thanks. Interesting about those dashes, the last item to go on, and the piece felt finished then. Tiny elements that make a difference.

Little dots and little dashes , always surprising what they can add to a piece.Β

very pleasant.

Thanks much, Royce. That face is accidental but I saw it too.

thanks, Ado. the piece evolved over a few days and those dashes were what made it feel finished for me
btw, i wrote some comments on your piece in stash. brain-storming type stuff.

Might the little yellow scrap be a hint at Babel? Β (Well, it was for me anyway.)

Yup
That was not planned from the beginning but the scrap turned up and fit so well.

fine work , everything with contrast is in small details , itΒ΄s very subtle .

it's fun to use. such a neat and solid black. of course, the aged sheets have little imperfections - which makes them even better for someone like me.
