Description
Boa crouched down and stuck his fingers in Celari’s hair. “If you could just let this one go you wouldn’t have anything tying you
down anymore.” Boa hissed as he pulled Celari up to her knees by her hair and slid the sword under her
jaw.
Ion’s heart fell into his stomach. He was unable to move fearing Celari’s life was about to be taken
from him, again.
“Do you see yourself, Ion?” Boa yelled. “Do you have any idea how pitiful you look? You’re a
child, frozen in panic. Your skill as a fighter vanished all because of your sentimentality!” - Volume VII; Chapter VII
Ion certainly has the most character development in The Future of Trunks. I honestly didn't care for him much in the beginning but he's slowly redeeming himself as time goes on. I'm realizing as I write how sad his story actually is. He lost the love of his life and best friend all because he "fell in with the wrong crowd". But the fact that he's realizing this and admitting to himself his mistakes says a lot about his character.
